"First Steps in ABA" is the first in an innovative series of multimedia courses on a range of topics that will improve the level of experienced support, i.e. the quality of supports delivered by you and your team. The series contains a range of interactive learning experiences, including video clips of best practice in action, that will help professionals and parents alike design individualised supports in skill acquisition and behaviour that challenges to mention but two areas...
If you want to understand how to use ABA instructional programs, how to break complex tasks into manageable sequences, how to arrange motivation for individuals, along with a host of other behavioural skills, this course is your ideal starting point. If as a parent you have access to ABA services, this is the ideal compliment to those services. If you are still trying to access an ABA service, this is an ideal start point and it will allow you begin the 'early intervention' that countless studies show is so important to your child's educational development.
"Managing Challenging Behaviour " and "Visual Supports " are two four-module courses currently in development and review. It is anticipated that these courses will be available later in 2008. FETAC accreditation is being sought now.
